Former manager Mick Jones, who took the Poppies to FA Trophy Final at Wembley in 1979 against Stafford Rangers, has passed away aged 75. Mick left Peterborough United in 1976 to become the player-manager of Kettering Town, before going on to manage Mansfield Town, Halifax Town, Peterborough United and Plymouth Argyle.  He went on to forge a great partnership with Neil Warnock, (as his assistant ) at Notts County, Huddersfield Town, Plymouth Argyle, Sheffield United, Crystal Palace, QPR and Leeds United.

There will be a minutes silence prior to the game on Saturday against Bradford (Park Avenue).
