Job Title: Chairperson of Kettering Town FC

Voluntary Position

Kettering Town FC is seeking a commercially astute individual with a keen interest in football to serve as the new Chairperson of the club. As a well-established and respected football club, we are looking for someone who can take us to the next level by providing leadership and direction, with a strong focus on financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead the Board of Directors to ensure that the club is being run effectively and efficiently, with a focus on financial sustainability
• Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive the club forward and ensure its long-term success, with a clear understanding of financial implications
• Identify and implement new revenue streams for the club, with a focus on financial viability
• Build strong relationships with fans, local businesses, and other stakeholders to enhance the club’s profile and reputation, while being mindful of financial constraints
• Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure that the team is performing to the best of its ability on and off the field, while staying within the club’s financial means

Requirements:

• Must have experience in running their own business or managing a large team, with a proven track record of financial management
• You’ll need to possess strong commercial acumen and be able to identify and implement new revenue streams for the club, while staying within the club’s financial means
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a view of unifying everyone
• It’s important you can offer your time for regular board meetings, fans forums, and internal business activities of the club, with a clear understanding of financial constraints
