Barry Medlock: One of Our Own

Sad news, early this morning we lost a Poppies stalwart. Barry Medlock has passed away. After a long battle, Barry has succumbed to his illness.

Many will know Barry, always helping out at the Poppies, in recent years on the Klondike and programme table in the clubhouse on match days. Beer festivals, race-nights, U18 turnstiles, the list goes on. Barry was one of the original Poppies Pirates all those years ago. He loved a pint or two of golden pale ale. He was known as Brumpoppy on the Poppynet.

Many thanks Barry for all your years devoted to the Poppies, you will be sorely missed.

RIP Barry.
