31 Jul Carvell & Purse become Poppies!

Manager Andy Leese has added midfielder James Carvell who has excited during our pre-season programme. A former Derby County U18 and Barnsley U21 player before spells at Oregon State University (USA), Basford United, Ilkeston Town, Belper Town and Ossett Town. James opened his friendly account with two stunning goals in the 5-0 win over Cogenhoe United and has continued to impress ever since.

Andy has also added Luca Purse who previously has played for Cogenhoe United and AFC Rushden & Diamonds U18 (son of Darren Purse), again he has impressed in pre-season and is an exciting prospect within the squad.

We would like to welcome both James and Luca to Latimer Park and hope they have a successful time with the club.
