The club have been given an absolutely fantastic donation from an anonymous supporter. Supplied by Steve Gammon of Garden Machines, Kettering Town FC now have a brand-new mower and tools (gifted by another anonymous supporter) on loan to the club, to aid groundsman Ian Hopewell in his ongoing preparations for the pitch.  These are tremendous donations by the two fans and it goes without saying that everyone at the club is amazed and thankful for such needed equipment. It just goes to show what a brilliant fan base we have coming up trumps time and time again.

Steve, son of former Poppies player and manager Steve Gammon (senior, below), said, “It was a pleasure to be able to support the Poppies with their machinery requirements –

my father playing for them is what originally brought us to Northamptonshire from South Wales – Thereafter, setting up Kettering mowers with John Lawman (ex-Poppies) and ultimately with the initial backing of John Nash (Kettering Town Chairman) buying Garden Machines in Northampton. We now have a third generation working for Garden Machines!”
