Northampton ON Chenecks inflicted the second defeat of our U-21's pre-season as they edged a tight match 1-0 in Aris Lane, Stanwick. 

The host's got the game's only goal late in the first half, and although Jim Freeman's Development team dominated the second period they couldn't make the breakthrough. 

The result may not have been what the young Poppies would have targeting, but they can be encouraged by many aspects of their play in a competitive friendly against the United Counties League Division One outfit.
