27 Oct PLAYER NEWS – Squad Update

Andy Leese has provided a squad update ahead of this weekend’s round of football:

“Ahead of this weekend’s fixture, there has been some activity with the playing squad. Andy Leese advised that some players have been allowed to leave primarily to get game time elsewhere.

O Shane Stewart and Gedeon Okita have both done well for us in the short time they were here, but with players ahead of them in their preferred positions we have agreed it is best for them to look to play elsewhere. I have also had a similar discussion with Josiah Bridgeman and he will not be involved with us moving forward.  Harry Moors also needs playing time. He will move over to Thame United to do that and to continue his development. We will monitor Harry across the next month and see how he gets on. Kai O’Keefe has moved to Newport Pagnell Town, Charley Barker heads to Ipswich Wanderers, whilst James Carvell goes to Stafford Rangers. Elsewhere, Josiah Bridgeman and Freddie Moriarty also head off to gain first-team football.

Andy has also added to the Management team this week , bringing in Jim Le Masurier to assist him and the team. Jim is an ex Kettering player and has managed locally for a few years now. Jim will strengthen and complement the team across a number of areas and brings an in depth knowledge of players and teams across a number of levels. Please welcome Jim when you see him around the club.
